This is one of the best versatile shin guards I have seen with exceptional details and fantastic quality.  The strap threads through a loop on one side giving a more stable adjustment.  The strap also has non slip gripping on the inside which will prevent the strap moving up and down on the calve.  The removable or adjustable ankle protection gives you the option to wear them or not. It gives you the option to have move the guard up or down on the shin depending on your height which it makes it be able to fit more age and height groups.
